The benefit of two major 2015 Hunter Mountain festivals to Greene County Businesses was officially quantified by Perry Analytics, LLC in reports produced for Townsquare Media and recently released. These reports specifically focus on the revenue coming into Greene County from attendees who live outside Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, and Columbia Counties. The numbers are impressive, especially because they do not include ticket purchases or any in-festival spending by attendees.
Over 83% of festival goers travelled to Hunter Mountain from outside the four-county region, and spent an average of almost $500 per person with local businesses! That’s over $10.7 Million. An exit poll of a representative sample of over 3000 attendees gave the range of businesses that benefited from these purchases.
