The third year of destination events amidst beautiful blooms and scenic views is already logging huge successes as Meadowbrook Farm expands its offerings with even more opportunities to gather, wander, and enjoy local food, crafts, entertainment, and of course, flowers!
Angela & Steve Worth’s 2025 season kicked off with a Tulip Walk over two consecutive Saturdays in late April and early May. As with all of the public events at Meadowbrook, visitors were not only treated to the blooms of the season, but savored tasty treats and delightful drinks while exploring the many vendors of local products.
“We’re always looking forward to what’s next,” says Angela as she describes the continuing growth of amenities on the property. The Barn (climate-controlled for gatherings, workshops, and performances) sits in the center of the action, adjacent to the Marquee tent that covers a flexible outdoor space complete with seating and a custom field-stone bar. Down a garden path to the north of the Barn is the newly built chapel – perfect for the ceremonies held on the property.
On select weekdays, flower arranging classes and Thursday night Salsa dancing lessons continue to grow in popularity, not only with the locals but also with an increasing number of visitors who follow @meadowbrookfarmcatskill on social media.
On Saturday, July 26, the second annual Taco & Tequila festival will feature live music by Alessandra Gonzalez and Guilty Pleasure. Margaritas, cocktails, tequila tasting and tacos will abound to fuel Latin dancing and revelry!
This year’s Sunflower & Sangria Festival kicks off on Friday, August 15 and runs all weekend starting at 11AM each day. Food, beer, Sangria, live music and 125,000 sunflowers in 20 varieties await – not to mention the panoramic view of the Great Northern Catskill Mountains!
The Fall Harvest and Pumpkin Festival will be next on the agenda (Dates TBD) but it’s sure to be another great season.
